Yulia Potatueva is a Russian-born and Milan based photographer and filmmaker with a particular interest in body language, shapes of body and beauty of the skin. She takes her inspiration in light, skin and inner beauty, which she believes everybody has. Her personal style is leaning towards neutral tones with bright splashes of colour. “I just need a body: every fold, every wrinkle, every contour – each detail speaks of a person’s character, feelings and inner world. According to my camera, I communicate with the soul of the person, discovering a new World and impressions from our contact. Each person is absolutely unique to me.” Yulia Potatueva came to photography in 2013, started this experience in family and kids photography, weddings and food photography in different Countries: France, Italy, Montenegro, Austria, Finland and etc. In 2021 was graduated in institute Moda and Design Raffles Milano and mastered in photography. Nowadays she is working as a commercial photographer in fashion industry, cooperating with magazines and brands: Bottega Veneta, Diesel, Marie Claire Arabia, Vogue Italia, Virtus magazine, I-D Italy etc. And continue working on her personal projects: “BODY LANGUAGE” and “SACRAMENT”.
